Liking you for liking me

Sorry to send this out to both my Substacks. Many of you overlap.

Just got more likes on last post than any other. It occurs to me that I never told you all that you get “stars” from Substack for liking articles. Every dam thing is a comparison. Or is it a competition? Oh, that’s right. They are the same thing.

I want to appear more likable, but, as I told my daughter when she was told me she wanted something: “It’s good to want things.”
