John 16:25 Fun

This verse is an example of how the fun of Jesus is cooked until his juiciness dried out. John 16:25.

KJV: These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall show you plainly of the Father.
NIV: Though I have been speaking figuratively, a time is coming when I will no longer use this kind of language but will tell you plainly about my Father.

Two nouns here, “proverbs/figuratively” and “plainly” are drained of their meaning here. And yes, they are both nouns, even though only one of those translations is a noun. How? Paid subscribers can read on.
